Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb flank steak
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 tsp cracked pepper freshly cracked
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Rice (for serving)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, crushed red pepper, cracked pepper, and salt.
  • Step 3: Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips and marinate it for about 5 minutes.
  • Step 4: Prepare the broccoli and place it on one side of the sheet pan.
  • Step 5: Roast the steak and broccoli in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
  • Step 6: Check the steak’s internal temperature, aiming for about 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
  • Step 7: Serve the steak and broccoli over rice, drizzling any remaining juices from the pan over the top.
