Ingredients

For the Potatoes:

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Instructions

  • Start by washing the russet potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a towel.
  • Place each potato on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, make thin, evenly spaced slices about 1/8 inch apart, stopping about 1/4 inch from the bottom so that the potato remains intact.
  • In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Using a brush or a spoon, generously coat each potato with the seasoning mixture.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Once preheated, carefully place the potatoes in the air fryer basket. Cook for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  • Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color and additional flavor. Enjoy!
