Ingredients

For the Wings:

  • 4 pounds chicken party wings patted dry with a paper towel
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

For the Sauce:

  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

Directions:

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature is key to achieving that crispy skin.
  • Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the chicken wings in this mixture until they are well coated.
  • Step 3: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a cooling rack on top. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the rack.
  • Step 4: Bake the wings for about 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Step 5: While the wings are baking, prepare the sticky sauce by combining the buffalo sauce, honey, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and cornstarch in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until it thickens slightly.
  • Step 6: Once baked, transfer the wings to a large bowl and pour the sticky sauce over them, tossing to coat evenly.
  • Step 7: Serve the wings immediately, garnished with fresh herbs or chopped green onions if desired.
