Ingredients

  • 1 large egg

  • 3.9 ounces chocolate instant pudding mix

For the Vanilla Caramel Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons cream or milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 cups confectioners sugar sifted

Instructions

Cooking Instructions:

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that your brownies bake evenly.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Baking Pan - Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, lightly greasing it to prevent sticking.
  • Step 3: Mix the Wet Ingredients - In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Whisk until smooth. Add the egg, yogurt, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas, mixing until well combined.
  • Step 4: Combine the Dry Ingredients - In another bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix, cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Step 5: Bake the Brownies - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  • Step 6: Prepare the Vanilla Caramel Glaze - In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together over medium heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in cream and vanilla extract. Gradually whisk in sifted confectioners sugar until smooth and glossy.
