Ingredients

  • 6 cups Romaine or Butter lettuce
  • 4 oz provolone cheese cubed
  • 1/2 cup ham cubed
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken or turkey cubed
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs diced
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 cup croutons
  • 1/4-1/2 cup Italian dressing or ranch or blue cheese dressing

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the Romaine or Butter lettuce thoroughly. Tear it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
  • Using your cutting board and sharp knife, cube the provolone cheese, ham, and cooked chicken or turkey into small, uniform pieces.
  • Dice the hard-boiled eggs, avocado, and tomatoes. Add them to the salad bowl along with the cubed proteins.
  • Sprinkle the croutons over the top of the salad for a delightful crunch.
  • Drizzle your choice of dressing over the salad. Start with 1/4 cup and add more to your taste. Gently toss everything together until well combined.
  • Serve the salad immediately as a refreshing meal or side dish. Enjoy the colorful, nutritious creation you’ve made!
