  • 1.25 cups whole milk
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted plus more for the pan
  • 10 units Oreos, crushed
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • Crushed Oreos for serving
  • Chocolate sauce for serving

  • Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, dark cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of kosher salt.
  • Step 2: In a separate bowl, mix together the whole milk, egg, and melted unsalted butter until well combined.
  • Step 3: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined, then fold in the crushed Oreos.
  • Step 4: Preheat your skillet or griddle over medium heat, adding a small amount of melted butter.
  • Step 5: Using a ladle, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until done.
  • Step 6: While the pancakes are cooking, whip the cold heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
