Cut the ripe avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocados until you reach your desired level of creaminess – some like it chunky, while others prefer it smooth.
Pour in 1 tablespoon of lime juice, 2 teaspoons of orange juice, and 2 teaspoons of pineapple juice. Stir gently to combine. Taste your mixture and adjust the citrus juices according to your preference – a bit more lime for tang or extra orange for sweetness.
Fold in the coarsely chopped cilantro. This herb not only adds flavor but also gives a beautiful green color to the guacamole.
Add 1 tablespoon of hot sauce to your mixture. Adjust the heat according to your preference, adding more if you like a spicy kick.
Sprinkle in sea salt to taste. This is where you can make the flavors pop, so don’t be afraid to taste and adjust!
Once your Citrus Guacamole is ready, let it sit for about 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve with tortilla chips, tacos, or as a topping for grilled meats.
