Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough 8 oz
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup crab meat shredded
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Filling Preparation

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with shredded crab meat. Add chopped green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until creamy and evenly blended.

Assembly

  • Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Separate into the pre-cut triangles.
  • Place about one tablespoon of the crab and cream cheese mixture at the wider end of each crescent triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the pointed end, encasing the filling securely.

Baking

  • Arrange the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

Serving

  • Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm for best flavor and texture.

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Mixing Bowl

Notes

  • Do not overfill the crescent rolls to prevent leakage during baking.
  • Always use softened cream cheese for a smooth filling.
  • Line the baking sheet with parchment paper to avoid sticking and easy cleanup.
  • You can prepare the filling a day ahead and refrigerate.
  • Freeze unbaked rolls on a baking sheet before transferring to a freezer bag for longer storage.
