  • 8 oz pasta of your choice (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti work well)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast (diced)
  • 4 slices turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta of your choice and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve about ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta in a colander. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the chopped turkey bacon. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  • In the same skillet, add the diced chicken breast. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside with the bacon.
  • In the same skillet, add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
  • Return the cooked chicken and bacon to the skillet. Add the drained pasta and toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if necessary.
