  • 1/2 cup Water adjust for consistency
  • 1 clove Garlic peeled and chopped
  • 2 inches Ginger fresh, grated finely
  • 3 tablespoons Tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sambal Oelek or Sriracha for heat
  • to taste Sea salt
  • to taste Ground black pepper

  • Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients. Start by gathering all your ingredients. This will make the process smoother and quicker.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Garlic and Ginger. Peel one clove of garlic and a 2-inch piece of ginger. For best results, grate the ginger finely and chop the garlic.
  • Step 3: Combine All Ingredients. In a high-speed blender or food processor, add the natural peanut butter, water, chopped garlic, grated ginger, Tamari, maple syrup, lime juice, rice vinegar, and Sambal Oelek.
  • Step 4: Blend Until Smooth. Cover and blend the mixture until it reaches a creamy and smooth consistency. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit more water until it's just right.
  • Step 5: Taste and Adjust. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning with sea salt and ground black pepper as needed. You can also add more lime juice or sweetener if desired.
