Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of ½ inch.
  • Step 2: In one bowl, combine Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, whisk eggs until frothy.
  • Step 3: Dip chicken in egg mixture, then press into breadcrumb mixture to coat.
  • Step 4: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, drizzle with olive oil, and place chicken on it.
  • Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  • Step 6: Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with vegetables or salad!
