Ingredients

For the Brownies:

  • 2 boxes brownie mix
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14-ounce
  • 4 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

For the Brownie Mix:

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking pan lightly to prevent sticking.
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions.
  • Step 3: Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  • Step 4: In another bowl, combine the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips. Mix until well combined.
  • Step 5: Spoon the macaroon mixture over the brownie batter in the pan and spread it evenly.
  • Step 6: Pour the remaining brownie batter over the macaroon layer and spread it gently.
  • Step 7: Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Step 8: Let the brownies cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes, then cut into squares and enjoy!
