  • 1 can black beans (14-oz, drained and rinsed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: In a blender or food processor, combine the black beans, eggs, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, avocado oil, baking powder, sea salt, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Blend until smooth.
  • Step 3: Pour the mixture into a mixing bowl and fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  • Step 4: Line your baking pan with parchment paper or grease it.
  • Step 5: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick.
  • Step 7: Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
