Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Italian bread for serving

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add the room temperature butter, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a generous pinch of ground black pepper.
  • Using a spatula or wooden spoon, mix all the ingredients together until well combined. The mixture should be creamy and smooth, with the garlic evenly distributed throughout.
  • Give the spread a taste and adjust the seasoning if needed. You can add more black pepper or even a pinch of salt if you prefer.
  • Slice your Italian bread into thick pieces, about 1 inch each. This will allow for a perfect amount of spread on each slice.
  • Take your Garlic Bread Spread and slather it generously on each slice of bread. Make sure to cover the surface well to ensure maximum flavor with each bite.
  • Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the buttered bread slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  • Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and serve immediately. Enjoy the warm, garlicky goodness on its own or as a delightful side to your favorite dishes.
