Ingredients

  • 4 pieces gold potatoes (7 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt or sea salt or garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature is key for achieving crispy wedges.
  • Wash the gold potatoes thoroughly and then cut them into wedges. Aim for uniformity in size to ensure even cooking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the potato wedges with olive oil. Then add the grated parmesan cheese, dried basil, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and ground black pepper. Toss everything together until the wedges are evenly coated.
  • Spread the coated potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure to leave space between each wedge to allow for proper air circulation.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through. You want them to be golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  • Once baked, remove the wedges from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy the deliciousness of these Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges!
