Ingredients

  • 8 oz whipped cream cheese (comes in a tub for easy mixing)
  • 8 oz sour cream (adds a tangy creaminess)
  • 1 oz dry ranch dressing mix (typically 1 packet for flavor)
  • 1 bunch cilantro leaves (fresh and fragrant)
  • 4 pieces fresh jalapeños (stems removed, sliced, and seeded for heat)
  • 1 lime lime (freshly squeezed juice for brightness)

Instructions

  • Start by washing the cilantro leaves thoroughly and patting them dry. Remove the stems and set the leaves aside. Slice the jalapeños in half, remove the seeds for a milder flavor, and chop them into small pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream cheese and sour cream. Using a hand mixer or whisk, blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Sprinkle in the dry ranch dressing mix and mix well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
  • Add the chopped cilantro and jalapeños to the bowl. Squeeze the juice of the lime into the mixture and stir everything together until well combined.
  • Transfer the Green Dip to a serving bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Serve chilled.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Hand mixer or whisk
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Lime juicer
  • Serving Bowl

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For a healthier option, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
  • Try adding avocado for a creamier texture.
