Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk choose your favorite type, e.g., whole, almond, or oat milk
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce for that sweet, sticky finish
  • 1.5 ounces hot espresso freshly brewed for the best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup adds delightful sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream optional but highly recommended

Instructions

  • Start by brewing 1.5 ounces of hot espresso using your espresso machine or coffee maker. If you don't have an espresso machine, you can use a strong coffee brewed in a French press as a substitute.
  • In a separate container, heat 1 cup of milk until it’s warm but not boiling. Use a milk frother or whisk to froth the milk until it reaches a creamy consistency with a bit of foam on top.
  • In your serving glass or mug, add 2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup at the bottom. Then, slowly pour the frothed milk over the syrup.
  • Carefully pour the hot espresso over the milk. This will create a beautiful layered effect, with the espresso sitting on top of the milk.
  • Finish your drink by drizzling 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce on top. If you’d like, add 2 tablespoons of whipped cream for an extra indulgent touch.
  • Stir gently before sipping to combine the flavors, and enjoy your homemade creation!

Equipment

  • Espresso machine or coffee maker
  • Milk frother or whisk
  • Measuring spoons
  • Serving glass or mug

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the sweetness by modifying the vanilla syrup and caramel sauce amounts.
  • Experiment with different types of milk for a unique flavor.
  • For a stronger flavor, substitute espresso with a concentrated brewed coffee.
