Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 5 cloves Garlic peeled and minced
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon Chili powder or cayenne pepper optional
  • 2 1/2 pounds Side of salmon
  • 1 pinch Salt to season
  • 1 pinch Cracked pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • 4-5 pieces Lemon wedges optional, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, butter, whole grain mustard, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Whisk until well blended and smooth. If you like a hint of spice, add the chili powder or cayenne pepper.
  • Lay a large piece of aluminum foil on a baking sheet. Place the salmon skin-side down in the center of the foil. Season with salt and cracked pepper.
  • Pour the honey mustard glaze over the salmon, making sure to coat it evenly.
  • Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon, creating a sealed packet.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Once cooked, carefully open the foil packet and transfer the salmon to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
