Ingredients

  • 1 can lemon pie filling
  • 1 can crushed pineapples undrained
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup shredded coconut optional
  • 1 cup chopped pecans optional
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread the lemon pie filling evenly in the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Pour the crushed pineapples over the lemon pie filling, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the pineapple layer evenly.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
  • If using, sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped pecans on top.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving; dust with powdered sugar if desired.
