Ingredients

  • 6 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • a pinch red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings, melted butter, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce (or coconut aminos), minced garlic, Sriracha sauce, ground cumin, and red pepper flakes.
  • Pour the maple glaze over the wings and toss until well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the wings in a single layer. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Transfer the wings to a serving platter. Drizzle with any remaining glaze and serve with dipping sauces.
