Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed sweet potato cooked
  • 2/3 cup milk of choice
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp almond butter optional

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Sweet Potatoes - Cook your sweet potatoes until tender, either by steaming, boiling, or roasting.
  • Step 2: Gather Your Ingredients - In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potato, milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup (or banana), salt, and almond butter.
  • Step 3: Blend Until Smooth - Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk if necessary.
  • Step 4: Taste and Adjust - Taste the mixture and add more sweetener if desired, then blend again.
  • Step 5: Freeze for Extra Creaminess - Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Step 6: Serve and Enjoy - Scoop the Nice Cream into bowls and add your favorite toppings if desired.
