  • 2 tablespoons Peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • 1 unit Banana ripe, mashed

Instructions

  • Start by collecting all your ingredients. This makes the process smoother and more enjoyable.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of old fashioned rolled oats and 1 cup of milk. Stir well to ensure that the oats are fully submerged in the milk.
  • Mix in 2 tablespoons of chia seeds and 1-2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup or honey, depending on your sweetness preference. Stir until everything is combined.
  • Add in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. You can either stir it in directly or swirl it for a marbled effect.
  • In a separate bowl, mash 1 ripe banana until smooth. Mix the mashed banana into the oat mixture, ensuring it’s well distributed.
  • Transfer your mixture into a jar or container and seal it tightly. Place it in the refrigerator and let it sit overnight, or for at least 4 hours.
  • In the morning, give your oats a good stir. You can top them with sliced bananas, a drizzle of extra peanut butter, or some chopped nuts for added texture. Enjoy your delicious and nutritious breakfast!
