Ingredients

  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk whole milk for richer flavor
  • 1 cup peppermint candy, crushed candy canes or peppermint rounds
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • red gel food coloring a few drops for color
  • whipped cream topping for serving
  • maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by adding the 4 cups of vanilla ice cream and 1 cup of milk into your blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Next, sprinkle in the 1 cup of crushed peppermint candy and ½ cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Blend again until well combined.
  • Add a few drops of red gel food coloring to the blender. Blend once more until the color is evenly distributed.
  • Pour the milkshake into your serving glasses, leaving space at the top for whipped cream.
  • Generously top each milkshake with whipped cream, and finish it off with a maraschino cherry on top.
