Ingredients

For the Pizza:

  • 1 family size flatbread pizza crust
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 ounces cream cheese block style
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes chopped
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup shredded Mexican cheese

Instructions

Preparation Steps:

  • Step 1: Preheat Your Oven. Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). A hot oven will help create that perfect crispy crust.
  • Step 2: Cook the Ground Turkey. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
  • Step 3: Add Seasoning. Once the turkey is cooked through, stir in the taco seasoning and water. Mix well and let it simmer for another 5 minutes until the water has mostly evaporated and the turkey is fully coated in seasoning.
  • Step 4: Prepare the Creamy Sauce. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, cream cheese, and lime juice. Mix until smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps.
  • Step 5: Assemble the Pizza. On a pizza stone or baking sheet, place the flatbread crust. Spread the creamy yogurt mixture evenly over the crust. Then, layer the seasoned turkey mixture on top.
  • Step 6: Add the Toppings. Sprinkle the shredded Mexican cheese over the turkey, followed by the chopped cherry tomatoes and green onions.
  • Step 7: Bake the Pizza. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.
  • Step 8: Finish with Fresh Veggies. Once out of the oven, top the pizza with shredded lettuce for a fresh crunch. Slice and serve hot!
