Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek plain yogurt (or vanilla)
  • 1 cup granola
  • ½ cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • ½ cup bananas (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons almond slices

Instructions

  • Start by washing your mixed berries thoroughly. Pat them dry with a paper towel. Slice the bananas into thin rounds.
  • In your glass cup or bowl, add a generous scoop of Greek plain yogurt to the bottom. Aim for about ½ cup to start.
  • Drizzle a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup over the yogurt layer. This adds sweetness and enhances the flavor of the yogurt.
  • Next, add a layer of granola on top of the yogurt and sweetener. Use about ¼ cup for that satisfying crunch.
  • Now, layer in your mixed berries. You can use a combination of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Aim for about ¼ cup of berries.
  • On top of the berries, add a layer of sliced bananas, about ¼ cup. This adds a sweet and creamy texture.
  • Repeat the layers until your glass is nearly full. You can alternate the order or keep the same pattern, depending on your preference.
  • Top the final layer with additional granola and a sprinkle of almond slices for that extra crunch.
  • Your Yogurt Parfait is ready to be enjoyed! Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for later.

Equipment

  • Measuring Cups
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Glass cups or bowls
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Knife and cutting board

Notes

  • For added texture, toast your almond slices lightly before using them in the parfait.
  • Experiment with different fruits based on the season; peaches, cherries, and kiwi are great alternatives.
  • Make it a meal by adding a scoop of protein powder to the yogurt or serving it with a side of hard-boiled eggs.
  • To keep your granola crunchy, store it separately and layer it just before serving.
